Red Centre

This oil painting is called ‘Red Centre’ and it is a large one! It’s 140 X 180 cm. It’s a fantasy landscape inspired by central Australia but there’s an ocean in it and that isn’t to be seen in central Australia; though it was there millions of years ago!! As I painted I found myself exploring ideas of revealing a female body within a Mother Earth landscape.
