The Gorge, 2025

This fantasy landscape seems to be seeking  balance in the face of significant tension; there was a major intervention by the artist into the bottom half of the image: a highly designed,  maybe ‘covered’, object arrived in the valley dividing the two rock faces. This dynamic shape was inspired by the surface of the Frank Geary designed Louis Vuitton art gallery in Paris.

I am still considering further work on the lower section of this painting.
